We are excited to invite you to our Kittyhawk fly-in on Sunday 26th June 2022.

We expect a fine range of flying machines from microlights to helicopters to vintage aircraft.

We had a fantastic turn out last year (read our blog post here) and are looking forward to welcoming you by air and car this coming June. We are itching to fire up our custom built BBQ again, serving up delicious authentic Lebanese chicken kebabs and freshly made Sussex butcher's burgers. We'll also have on hand a decent vegan option.

Please note our event is FREE to attend either by car or aircraft, but we would appreciate a suggested donation of £5 or £10 per person, with food and drink at reasonable prices.

We are also family friendly (who doesn't like looking at planes and jumping on bouncy castles?!) but please note this is an active airfield and children must be supervised at all times - attendance is at your own risk.

If you can, please leave your dogs at home, or they will need to stay in the car. (Limited exercise on a lead in an adjacent field).

We expect the BBQ to be going from 12-3 or so. We'll also have soft drinks, bottled water, tea, coffee & Maddy's legendary cake all day (courtesy of Cafe 8, Shoreham Airport), along with an ice cream van - come rain or shine.

If you wish to drink alcohol, you are welcome to bring your own.

For a taste of what's to come, watch our video promo above. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Please support our local air ambulance. Collection pots will be on site or you can donate directly here.

On the day

Visiting by car

We are located on Kittyhawk Farm with easy access from the A22 & A27, north east of Eastbourne, east of Brighton and approx 1.5 hour's drive south of London. Search for 'Kittyhawk Aerodrome' on Google Maps or Waze - it will bring you down a 650m private track to the hangar. (Our postcode will NOT bring you to the farm!)
Please ignore any ROAD CLOSED signs in the locale this is for another event in July and nothing to do with us!
Parking will be clearly marked, past our concrete apron and in to an adjacent field. Please take care as the track is potholed in places. It's single lane, with a couple of places to pull over if there is oncoming traffic.
Do visit the parked helicopter and aircraft areas. Only cross runways under guidance of Marshalls. It is an offence to endanger the safety of an aircraft and is DANGEROUS!
